Rohini Sakata Bhedanam-3(Saturn's seventh aspect)

Saturn,like all other planets,has the seventh aspect,which in fact, is the most powerful aspect he has.So when he looks at Star Rohini with his seventh aspect,grave incidents do happen on Earth.Let us look at them.

To be able to look at Rohini star with his seventh aspect he has to travel in Scorpio from 3rd to 20th degree.Let me cite the instances when Saturn traversed this sensitive point of the Zodiac in the past.

One of the most alarming things is that in the coming few months Saturn is going to step into Scorpio to look at Star Rohini from there.So,it is not improper to think that,in another one or two years,world disasters are sure to happen again.

Let me cite a few examples.

1) Saturn travelled over this sensitive point from November 1985 to January 1987 and looked at Rohini.

• On 26-4-1986 we had the Chernobyl Nuclear disaster which is considered to be the worst of its kind in the recent past and which resulted in the spill over of Nuclear dust over Russia and Europe.
• 'Pripyat' a city in the vicinity of the reactor was abandoned as a result of this disaster.
• People around that area were affected with grave diseases like Thyroid Cancer etc.
• Now,a very peculiar feature of those years is burning of a few hotels in some countries.
• 'Dupont Plaza Hotel arson' occured in Puerto Rica.This was one of the biggest hotel fires in that country.
• 'Hotel Caledonian fire' occured in Norway.
• Switzerland witnessed an environmental chemical disaster called 'Sandoz chemical spill'.
• There were any number of Hurricanes,Typhoons,Earthquakes and Cyclones in 1986.
• China witnessed '1987 Daxing'anling wildfire' which burned to ashes about 25 Lakh acres of forest.This fire was burning for a month continuously.
• There happened an incident called 'King's cross fire' in London underground station.
• India saw 'Punjab Killings' in 1987.Hindus travelling in two buses were killed mercilessly by terrorists belonging to Khalistan Commando Force.
• Brazil witnessed a radio active disaster incident called 'Goiania accident'
• New Jersey and New York witnessed a peculiar thing called 'The Syringe tide'.Atlantic beaches were shut down for a few days because they were inundated with used syringes,medical waste and other garbage.
• Philippines was attacked by three successive Typhoons.
• No need to mention about Cyclones and Earthquakes etc.Any number of such things happened in USA.

2) Saturn traversed in Scorpio and looked at Rohini again from 1956-1957.

• There happened a big fire accident in Norway.It is called the 'Dalsenget fire'.It burned down a whole tram depot and all the trams stationed over there.
• USA witnessed one of its biggest fire accidents called Texas McKee refinery fire wherein about half a million gallons of Pentane and Hexane gases were burnt.
• Japan saw Minamata disease,which comes through Mercury poisoning.Waste water from nearby chemical factories spilled over and polluted the Sea resulting in this worst kind of disease that haunted Japan for almost 36 years.
• The Atlantic and the Pacific oceans witnessed 9 Hurricanes and Typhoons.
• There were Earthquakes in Anjar(Gujarath,India),South Lebanon,Nicaragua and Burma.Among them,the Saigong Earthquake of Burma was the largest in its destructive intensity.
• There was 'Murray river flood' in Australia which inundated many cities in three states.
• Perhaps one of the worst disasters that attacked Earth at that times was the 1956 Tornado outbreak in USA.Almost 47 Tornados appeared in USA during these years and wrought destruction.
• 1956 Alabama tornado is another disaster that hit the USA.
• The year 1957 could be called the Year of Tornados'.In that year USA was devastated by 203 Tornados.
• Spain witnessed 1957 Valencia flood.

3) Again,Saturn travelled in Scorpio and looked at Rohini between 1926 and 1927.

• The year 1926 could be termed as 'The year of Earthquakes'.There were about 80 Earthquakes all around the world in that year.Mars stayed for an abnormally longer period in Aries at that time.
• USA saw 1926 Louisiana hurricane which devastated its Gulf west coast.
• One of the biggest floods USA had ever seen in its history is The great Mississipi flood of 1927 which inundated about 27,000 square miles area with 30 feet water.
• India witnessed 1927 Nagpur riots.

4) Again Saturn travelled in Scorpio in 1897 -1898 and looked at star Rohini.

• The great Assam Earthquake of 1897 is the biggest Earthquake in the history of Indian Sub continent.It shook the area of about 6.5 lakh square Km from Burma to Delhi.
• North Dakota witnessed Red river flood.
• There was Yellow river flood in China.
• 1898 Fort Smith Arkansas Tornado levelled many houses in the USA.
• Portland gale destroyed New England area and sank a ship named SS Portland. 

5) Again,Saturn travelled in Scorpio in 1868 -1869 and looked at Rohini.

• 1868 Arica Earthquake is one of the biggest Earthquakes Peru had ever witnessed.It created Tsunami from Hawaii,Japan and New Jealand.
• 1868 Equador Earthquakes had killed about 70,000.
• 1868 Hawaii Earthquake is the biggest Earthquake that happened in the history of Hawaii islands.We can imagine its devastation, if we remember that the islands are still sufferings from those effects,even today.
• 1868 Hayward Earthquake (The Great San Francisco Earthquake) destroyed Hayward town.
• Abergele rail disaster,one of the worst disasters of Britain occured exactly in that year.
• The great fire of whitstable 1869 occured in Britain.
• New Jealand witnessed Christchurch Earthquake.
• No need to mention the number of marine and transport disasters that occured in 1868-69.
• Ahmadabad,India witnessed an Earthquake in 1868
• The great Rajputana famine of 1869 was the worst famine of its kind which rose in India and tortured about 50 millions.

6) Saturn again sojourned through Scorpio in 1838 -1839 and looked at Star Rohini.

• Romania saw Vrancea Earthquake.
• Two warships sank in the seas.
• Agra famine of 1837-38 was one of the worst famines that occured in India which killed about 8 lakhs people with hunger and fatigue.
• The year 1839 saw a worst kind of Cyclone at Coringa,in the East Coast of India.It killed about 3 lakhs people.

Enough is enough.I dont feel like going back into history anymore.

Everytime Saturn looked at Rohini from Scorpio,he wrought as much of destruction as he did when he travelled in Taurus.

On scrutiny, we can classify the above disasters into the following groups.

• Disasters involving Radio active material,Chemicals,petroleum and gas.
• Major Earthquakes.
• Cyclones occupy the next place.USA was the worst hit country.
• Next place is occupied by famines.At that time,India was under British rule and virtually there was no governance and no planning related to crops and food.So famines struck.

The worst conclusion is -- Saturn is going to travel in Scorpio again in 2015-16.From the above narration,it can be 'safely' predicted that the world would witness a few of these disasters again in the near future,invariably.

Rohini Sakata Bhedanam-2 (Saturn's tenth aspect)

There are many people who consider the effects of Saturn as terrible and bad.I don't think so.I consider the effects of Saturn on human life as good.

Saturn's positioning as well as his aspect,both are very good in my view.One may be scared to know my view.Let me explain.

What is considered as bad by the world looks good to the Yogis.Conversely,what is good to the world is bad to them.

Let me cite a verse from the Gita(2:69)

When it is dead of night to the world

The self controlled Yogi is wide awake then

Wherein other beings are awake

He looks at it as a dark night

The world is unnecessarily scared of Saturn.It should not be.Saturn makes us suffer no doubt,but this suffering is the result of our past karma.He never punishes a single human being without a valid reason behind.Saturn's influence clears our backlog Karma.He cleanses us of our karmic weight.He urges us to unload our backpack.He makes us pure.

In my view-Saturn is a great purifier.

Without the influence of Saturn,human life becomes a worst boredom very quickly.Human life loses direction without Saturn.It is Saturn's influence that makes the life of many in western countries a perpetual boredom.It is because of Saturn many people both in East and West fall preys to bouts of depression.

People never realize easily that their sufferings are nothing but their Karmic retributions.They wont believe easily if some one knowledgeable in these matters advises them so.All they want is a comfortable,care free life forever.

The other day,I was in a temple.

The priest was noting down the Gotras of devotees before commencing the worship.

So I told him-'Why do you ask them their Gotras? Everyone of them belongs to Yayati gotra invariably.No need to ask them again.'

People never take life in right sense.The reason is they never believe in Karma.If they start believing in Karma and start seeing things in their right sequence,then they can understand life's mysteries.

Many people keep on asking me remedies for Saturn.I never prescribe the usual Pujas done everywhere.My method of remedies is different.

Now,let me look at Saturn's 10th aspect on star Rohini and its effects on us.

Whenever Saturn transits on Leo 17 th degree,he looks at Taurus 17 th degree.Every time this happens in the skies,it can be roughly called a type of 'Rohini Sakata Bhedana'.

Let us look at the times when this stellar event happened and what happened,as a result,on the Earth.

1) Saturn was in Leo 17 degrees between 2007-08.

There was the worst kind of global financial crisis at that time.After the great depression of 1930s,this was another global crisis of similar nature.

2) Before that,Saturn travelled in Leo between 1977 and 1978.

At that time,Blizzard of 1977 shook western New York badly,with tons of snow everywhere,causing loss of millions of dollars.

At the very same time,the state of AP in India was hit by a worst kind of cyclone called 'Divi Seema' Cyclone.About 50,000 perished and property worth 500 million dollors was damaged.

3) Saturn travelled over Leo in 1948-49

Around the same time,about 5 lakhs of people perished in the border clashes during the partition of India.

There happened many natural disasters and transport disasters around the world.I am not taking them into account here.

4) Earlier to that Saturn was in Leo in 1918-19.

The world was hit by a worst kind of Flu Pandemic at that time.It attacked nearly 500 million people worldwide killing 50-100 millions.

The sad and unforgettable incident of 'Jalian Wala Bagh' took place in India.

I am not describing the Earthquakes and Floods that had hit the globe at that time for obvious reasons.

5) Before that,again,Saturn travelled in Leo from 1889-1890.

The great Seattle fire burned down most of that city.

The great Bakersfield fire destroyed the whole town burning down about 196 buildings.

Santiago Canyon fire destroyed Orange county and San Diego county.

6)Before that,Saturn touched Leo from 1859-1860.

The globe was hit by a powerful 'Solar Storm' which affected the Earth's magnetic field very badly.This is called the Solar Storm of 1859 or the Carington Event.

At the same time,there occured a severe storm called 'The Royal Charter Storm' in the Irish sea.

From the above incidents,it is clear that,whenever Saturn travelled in Leo,he looks at star Rohini with his 10th aspect,thereby triggering world disasters.

However,the destruction that was wrought when he touches Leo was much less in intensity than that was triggered when He was in Taurus.This is because,his aspect is less violent than his position.

Rohini Sakata Bhedanam-World wide disaster trigger-Wonder of Indian Astrology

We hear this word 'Rohini Sakata Bhedanam' very often in our Puranas.This phenomenon was observed during the times of Ramayana and Mahabharatha in India.Great wars and destruction happened everytime this peculiar phenomenon appeared in the sky.

Emperor Dasaradha,the celebrated father of Sri Rama observed this event in the skies and becomes apprehensive of some great mass destruction or danger to the country.

It forebodes evil and destruction
When Saturn leaves Krittika and nears Rohini
Sages call this "Breaking of Rohini's wain"
It brings great sorrow and misery

The gods and demons are terrified
and a famine of twelve years ensues
The villages and towns are ruined
The whole world says-"Here comes Fear"

Emperor Dasaradha authored a grand hymn to appease Lord Saturn and it is known as "King Dasaradha's Hymn to God Saturn".It is available in Brahmanda Purana and is chanted by millions of Indians even today to ward off the bad effects of Saturn.It really works wonders.

Let us look into Mahabharatha where we find a couple of verses describing this event.

Saturn tortures the star of Prajapathi
And the world will soon be under torture

O King! The star Rohini is tortured by Saturn
Moon is devoid of lustre; Great fear lurks everywhere

We see the above verses in the Ramayana and the Mahabharatha. But we never care to understand them in clear terms.We brush them aside as fiction.How did we degenerate into such a pitiable state?

The reasons are not far to seek.English education is one,forgetting Sanskrit is another and there are a plethora of other reasons like-alienation of our scriptures from us,parental ignorance, and disinterestedness on our part in exploring our scriptures.

Our Puranas are not fictitious stories invented and woven by lunatic brains.They are faithful records of our sages intended to pass on their ancient knowledge down to posterity.

Now,let us look into the definition of 'Rohini Sakata Bhedanam' as described in the famous astronomical work -'Surya Siddhantha'

"When an object with a south declination of slightly more than 2 degrees passes through Vrishabha Rasi at 17 degrees,then it breaks the wain of Rohini".

The celebrated ancient astrologer VarahaMihira described Rohini Sakata Bhedanam' in his magnum opus 'The Brihat Samhitha',two thousand years ago,thus:

"When the wain of Rohini is broken by Saturn or Mars or Sikhi,then alas,the world is drowned in a sea of sorrows".

Now,the star cluster 'Rohini' has 5 stars forming a triangle shaped thing in the centre.When Saturn or Mars or Sikhi(a mateor or Ketu) passes through this triangle near Alpha,Epsilon and Gama Tauri,then it is called 'Breaking of Rohini's wain'.

It might not be possible for Saturn,due to its distance from this area,to pass exactly at 17 degrees Vrisha with 2 degrees south declination.However,he touches the star Rohini once in every 30 years approximately.

Let us look into the world disasters that occured whenever Saturn touched this point in the skies.

1) Saturn was in Rohini star from May 2001 to June 2002 recently.

• On 11-9-2001 the twin towers were destroyed in USA killing about 5000 people.
• We can understand its impact better,if we understand the sense of scare it created in America's mindset.It started doubting every Asian after that day.
• 'A famine of twelve years ensues' are the words we can see in Dasaradha's observation.Even today,twelve years after WTC incident,the war against terror in Pakistan and Afganistan is still alive.Is not the prediction proved literally?
• The Gujarath earth quake occured in India killing about 30,000 and rendering many more homeless.
• Crown prince Dipendra,like a mad man,shot his father King Birendra and mother Aishwarya Devi and other 6 members of Royal Family of Nepal in a bloody shoot out on 1-6-2001 exactly when Saturn was transiting star Rohini.
• USA attacked Afganistan in retaliation to WTC incident and to wipe out terrorist outfits over there.
• A jet plane crashed in New York killing about 260 people.
• In an unprecedented attempt,Indian Parliament was attacked by terrorists on 13-12-2001.

2) Saturn sojourned over Star Rohini from 1972 to 1973.
A little earlier,i.e in 1971 Bangladesh emerged out as a separate country from the civil war with Pakistan.

• In the Earthquake of Nicaragua which occured in 1972,about 10,000 were killed,another 20,000 injured and about 30,000 became homeless.
• In 1973 there was a war between Egypt,Cyria and Israel.
• The second building of world trade center was completed in this year.Exactly after 30 years,when Saturn touched this point of Zodiac again,it was destroyed.

3) Saturn again travelled over Rohini between 1942 and 1943.

• 'Holocaust' occured and about 17 lakhs of Jews were killed.
• Nuclear chain reaction was invented by Science during this period.
• This was the time when World War II happened.Nearly 80 million people were killed in this war.
• This was the time of 'Quit India' movement in India.

4) Saturn travelled again on Rohini between 1912 and 1913.

• 1912 can be called 'year of disasters'.The Titanic ship sank in April 1912 killing about 1500 people.It would do well to remember that there were two persons from Guntur AP,India in that ship.
• Balkan wars took place killing or injuring about 5 lakhs people.
• In the Chinese revolution,about 2.5 lakh people were killed.
• The Meiji era ended in Japan.
• The 'Delhi conspiracy' designed by Bengal revolutionaries to kill Viceroy Lord Hardinge happened.

5) Earlier to that Saturn travelled on Rohini between 1883 and 1884.

• Krakato volcanic explosion occured on 26-8-1883.The fact that the sound of explosion was heard upto a distance of 4,800 Km explains its intensity.It killed about 36,000 and destroyed most of that island.
• The Great English earthquake or Colchester Earthquake occured which was never seen by the United Kingdom in the past 400 years.It leveled down about 1300 houses.
• Enigma Tornado hit the USA.
• Howard South Dakota tornado occured at the same time.

6) Before that,Saturn travelled on Rohini from 1854 to 1855.

• Due to fog,two ships collided in the bay of Newfoundland sinking SS Arctic.About 400 died.
• Great fire of New castle and Gateshead occured.
• Baptiste Creek Train accident,which was one of the gravest rail accidents in those days of North America,occured.
• Gasconade bridge train disaster happened wherein a whole train fell down into the river flowing below the bridge.
• In the Crimea war which led to the defeat of Russia about 8 lakh people were killed and another 1 lakh wounded.
• San Salvador Earthquake ruined the whole city killing 1000 people and damaging 25 million dollars property.
• A ship by name 'Powchattan" sank in Long Beach New York and 500 were dead.
• Red turban revolution started in Guangdong province of China.
• San Juan del Norte town in Nicaragua was bombed and destroyed by US navy.
• The Santhal revolution in India was brutally suppressed by the British killing about 15,000.

7) Again,Saturn visited Rohini between 1824 and 1825.

• In the biggest flood ever seen,Saint Petersburg was drowned.
• Three big ships sank in the seas.
• The whole world was in a mad frenzy of wars.
• About 50,000 died in Anglo-Burmese war.
• Greek civil war took place.
• Arkansas war took place.
• Britain Ashante war happened.
• Franko Trarjan war took place.
• Netherlands Java war occured.
• Portugal Brazil wars happened.

8) Again,Saturn travelled over Rohini between 1795 and 1796.

• In the Quiberon war about 20,000 were killed.
• Copenhagen fire happened.The fire was burning for two days continuously.
• Many ships sank during this period in the seas.
• Northumberland and Cumbarland coal mine disasters took place.
• In India,Queen Ahalya Bai Holkar died.
• Anglo Mysore wars took place.

9) Saturn travelled on Rohini again from 1765 to 1766.

• Buxar war took place between the English and the Mughals killing about 12,000(conservative estimate)
• In the Sino Burmese war,about 1 Lakh people died.
• Thousands perished in Burma -Siam war.
• That was the time of American Political revolution.

10) From 1736 to 1737 Saturn sojourned over Rohini.

• About 50,000 perished in First Delhi-Marata war in India.
• Portugese Marata war took place.
• Austria Turkey war happened.
• Kolkata witnessed the worst of its times in history where it had to face an Earthquake and a cyclone at the same time.
• East Russia witnessed Kamchatka Earthquake.

1) Saturn visited Rohini between 1706 and 1707.

• There were floods and cyclones in Nebraska.
• Poland witnessed its civil war.
• There took place wars between the English and the French for American colonies.
• Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb died in India.

12) Again from 1677 to 1678 Saturn travelled on Rohini.

• There was war between Russia and Turkey.
• James town Virginia witnessed Bacon revolution.
• A spanish vessel drowned in the coast of America.
• Shivaji fought with Mughal forces in India.

13) Between 1647-1648 Saturn travelled over Rohini.

• Second English civil war took place.
• After a year,Charles I was beheaded.
• Thousands perished in the Beewar wars of North America.
• Wapinger war occured in what is now called New York area.
• Intense battles were fought by Shivaji in India with the Mughal forces.

The above facts are enough to prove that 'Rohini Sakata Bhedana' described in Indian Scriptures is nothing but truth.

Effects of Saturn on human beings are real as could be seen from the above narration.Every time he touched star Rohini,it induced worldwide destruction.

How could Indian sages foresee all these events? How could they,in the remote past of 7000 BC could note down the ominous stellar events that triggered mass destruction and natural disasters?

Leaving the past behind,let us look ahead to find out when is Saturn going to touch Rohini again in the near future.

It is in 2031-2032.

What could it foretell?

Would the wars between the Jews and Arabs or between the two major religions of the world,escalate into a third world war by then?Or would there be world wide destruction again in some form or the other when Saturn transits the star Rohini in 2031-32?

Let us wait and watch.

Wise Bucket Challenge

Ice Bucket Challenge is meant to spread awareness of ALS(Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) in the world and to aid the research to combat this disease.In this challenge,you pour a bucketful of ice water on yourself and nominate a few others to do the same.Everyone has to donate a certain amount of money to the foundation that does research to eradicate ALS.

Many Americans are doing this,followed by Indians living in USA thereby spreading awareness of this disease in society.So far so good.

Seeing this frenzy,a new trend called 'Rice Bucket Challenge' has started in India.Someone who believes that India is still a poor country with poor people who needs rice to be donated for their survival,started to donate a bucketful of rice to the needy.They call it Rice Bucket Challenge'.

Great idea indeed !!

Now,in India,there is no dearth of either donors or receivers.Both givers and takers abound here.We have any number of rich people here who have the 'white card' which makes them eligible for receiving Government aid meant for poor people.They usually move in Benzs and BMWs but have no qualms in stopping happily near the 'Rice Bucket Challenge' tent to collect a bucket of rice.

I have an ancient doubt which,of late,has gained enough strength. Do poor people really exist in India now?- is the doubt.Let us have a look around the country.

Every poor house has color TV now,if possible the 42 inches HD one with cable network.If any citizen is devoid of such a one,some state Governments are making him self-sufficient by supplying one freely.Every house has more than four mobile phones each having four sim cards.Every new launch of a new mobile has instant takers in India.The Chinese brand MI.3 is the latest example.It is not an exaggeration to say that every Indian home now has enough old mobile sets to open a mobile shop without buying stocks.Every house has four two wheelers and two or more four wheelers.

Where are poor people in India?

Nonetheless,there are villages,even now,which have no facility of clean drinking water.But,there exists a wine shop in each of those villages,invariably.If not,the earlier Governments encouraged them. By evening, you can see all these wine shops vibrant with all kinds of men,sometimes with women,often with college girls who abscond from classes to have a sip of beer over there.

There is one challenge that has been alive in our country as far back I could see conveniently.It is Wine Bucket Challenge.You need none to invite you for this.In fact,we voluntarily rush forward to participate in this grand challenge.This has been so since the time we got independence.

Is Ice Bucket Challenge relevant to India which suffers from acute water shortage in hundrends of villages and towns? No. Is 'Rice Bucket Challenge' really necessary for today's Indians? The answer again, is a big loud 'NO'.

Just because someone is ready to donate out of his idle enthusiasm which is more often than not a vague and unrealistic estimation of the ground reality,someone is ready to accept.Just because there are givers,there are takers.In my view, there is no poor man now in India.

One of my friends from USA landed last year in India on a visit.He said-"Since my last visit a few years back,I find a great change in our country.Now I daresay that we in USA are poorer than most of you people here."

I am not certain,if the world really needs Ice Bucket Challenge or Rice Bucket Challenge or Wine Bucket Challenge.But there is one challenge which every human being badly needs.

It is called 'Wise Bucket Challenge'.

This challenge means-living wisely and encouraging your fellow citizens to live wisely.To live according to the age old precepts of Sanatana Dharma is all about Wise Bucket Challenge.Every citizen of the world,without any exception,needs to accept this challenge.

There is an English Idiom called 'Kicking the bucket'.We know what it means.Everyone who took birth has to die one day.'Wise Bucket Challenge' urges you to empty your bucket by the time you leave this world.

You can empty your bucket only when you live wisely.This is possible only when you live your life in Jnana and do your Karma with Jnana.Only then your Karmic Balance starts reducing.If you live a life that is full of Ajnana then by the time you die,your Karmic balance will increase a thousandfold and you leave this world with a heavy load of accumulated karma.

We came into this world with a big bucket full of past Karma.If we live unwisely,then we tend to accumulate more and more bad Karma everyday.By the time we leave from the world,we are sure to leave with a tank full of bad karma on our heads.In such a condition no one knows what our next birth is going to be.

Conversely,if we want to get out with no luggage on our back,then we have to live everyday of our life wisely,making it a life of Yoga.Only then,we will be able to win this challenge.

You need not nominate anybody for this challenge,for nomination cannot be done in this game.This challenge is something that should come out from within on its own with no provocation from outside.

Ice Bucket Challenge may spread awareness to eradicate ALS disease.Wise Bucket Challenge also does the same.In my books,ALS means Ajnana Lampata Syndrome i.e Ignorance and Craving Syndrome.One who can accept this challenge will be free from ignorance and craving.

He becomes Atmarama or one who is self contented and blissful with no reason at all.

I am not sure about the possible results of Ice Bucket Challenge or Rice Bucket Challenge,but sure about Wise Bucket Challenge.It surely and quickly removes our fundamental disease i.e ignorance.

Let us look into the Bhagavad Gita at 10th chapter :Sloka 11 where the Lord says:

"Teshaam anukampaardhamaham ajnaanajam tamaha
naashayaamyaatma bhaavastho jnaana deepena bhaasvataa"

The Lord Himself encourages us to take up this challenge and assures that he would be our strength in times of distress.

In another verse,He Himself explained the hurdles that torment us without allowing us to accept and win this challenge.Let me look into Gita again at 14th chapter 8th verse.

Tamastu ajnanajam viddhi mohanam sarva dehinaam
pramaada aalasya nidrabhi: tannibadhnaathi bharatha

(O son of India.Know what prevents you from leading a spiritual life.It is these three.Carelessness,delay and sloth-these three spring out from Ignorance and act as hurdles in spiritual path)


Pramada is the careless attitude which abhors spiritual quest.

Alasya is the laziness in sadhana.

Nidra is the sloth that makes us dull and disinterested in sadhana.

These three,the Lord says,spring out from Ignorance and stop you at every step from advancing in spiritual life.

So when you take up Wise Bucket Challenge,your inner WBC count will increase in a healthy manner that armors you with new strength to withstand the vagaries of life.It protects you from falling prey to spiritual ignorance.

The Lord is calling us since times immemorial to accept this challenge.But none seems to listen to Him.

The Lord exhorts.

O son of India.Get up.Cut with the sword of spiritual knowledge the doubts that spring up from primordial ignorance and linger in your heart.Take the help of Yoga and fight the war of life with it.

This I call-"Wise Bucket Challenge"

Our age old Dharma is beckoning us.Our ancient seers are calling us to accept this challenge.

But who cares to listen?

Every one is ready to accept either Ice Bucket Challenge or Rice Bucket Challenge.No one is ready for 'Wise Bucket Challenge'.

Is there anybody out there who can take up this challenge?

Robin Williams -Shapitha Yoga and Nadi principle

Noted American actor Robin Williams died recently.I consider this a combined effect of Shapithe Yoga and Full Moon.

He was one of my favorite actors.

I started admiring his acting skills after seeing his three movies viz; 'JUMANJI','WHAT DREAMS MAY COME' and 'NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM'.

I never saw his movies other than these three.Nevertheless I liked his way of expressing deep feelings with the help of few dialogues.

A kind of sadness,depression and childish innocence mark him out from other actors.According to me,these are the very things that are the greatest attractive features of his character.His smile,especially,looks very candid and innocent.

These are the charactristic features of Mercury.It would be wonderful to note that Mercury is his AtmaKaraka.In this way,planets imprint their signature on persons in a very strange manner.

Let me look into his chart.

He was born on 21-7-1951 at 1-34 PM at Chicago Illinois State.The planetary position at that time is shown above.

He was born on Ashadha Bahula Chaturthi Saturday in Satabhisha star ruled by Rahu as per Vimsottari dasa system and in the hora of Jupiter.

Lagna Lord Venus is in 11th Badhaka house with Ketu in same star quarter.This combination indicates voluntary exit from the world unable to bear pain or under a state of depression.This is one of the Karmic signatures of his chart.

He died on 11-8-2014.He was running Ketu/Mercury/Ketu dasa at that time.

Mercury was in Rahu star.Ketu dasa was on.So the role of Rahu and Ketu is clearly visible in his demise.

From the Moon lagna,

• Moon is with Rahu in 5th house from Lagna.Such natives,are usually addicted to some vice or the other.True to this,he was addicted to drugs and alcohol for quite some time.
• Lagna Lord Venus is with Ketu in a maraka place.He died in Ketu dasa and Ketu Vidasa.
• Mercury is in 6th house of disease in Rahu star indicating incurable disease.He is with Sun who is a maraka.
• Usually the dasa of Ketu/Mercury/Ketu will land people in severe depression.It appears that he was under a state of melancholy and depression from quite some time.No more proof is needed to testify to the veracity of Indian Astrology other than this.
• His Lagna is Libra that denotes artistes and performing actors.Its lord Venus is in 11th with Ketu.So he shined in movie field but found his exit from the world in Ketu dasa.

There is a Jaimini rule that is inevitably found in charts with suicidal tendencies.Let us verify it in his chart.

Mars is in Rahu star and aspecting the 3rd house from 9th.Saturn is aspecting him from 12th.So Saturn,Rahu and Mars are well connected.So it is evident that the much dreadd Shapitha Yoga has swallowed him.From Lagnarudha Ketu is found in 3rd house.

So the rule of Sage Jaimini which was formulated thousands of years back in India is proved to be correct in the chart of Robin Williams.

Conjunction of Saturn and Moon in Navamsha chart indicates depression and introvert nature.Conjunction of Rahu Mars and Mercury indicates an unpleasant death.

Let me compare the planets at birth and death in his chart.

• Natal Mercury and Transit Mercury are exactly at same place.
• His Natal Lagna is sandwitched between transit Saturn and Mars indicating the grip of Shapitha Yoga on him.

• Natal Moon and Transit Moon both are in Aquarius.
• Ketu is transiting on Jupiter who is Jivakaraka as per Nadi astrology indicating exhaustion of life force.
• Transit Rahu is moving on Karma Karaka Saturn.This is an unfailing Nadi principle that indicates death or accident.

This chart is another proof of Shapitha Yoga,Full Moon effect and Nadi principle of Rahu Ketu transit on Jiva and Karma karakas.

Ebola virus-Rahu Ketu signature

Ebola is the latest killer virus that is scaring off the whole world.

Since Rahu entered Virgo.I have been saying that this is the unmistakable effect of Rahu.

Now look at this peculiar sign that resembles the occult sign of Rahu/Ketu in the picture of the dreadful virus.

This is the picture of Ebola Virus.

And these are the occult signs of Rahu and Ketu in Astrology.

If you observe closely,these signs of Rahu and Ketu are clearly visible in the virus picture of Ebola.

While writing a post when Rahu entered Kanya I predicted that terrible epidemics will rise their heads and create horror in the minds of people very soon.

Reason?--Rahu the most dreaded planet entering Virgo the 6th house of natural Zodiac representing 'diseases'.Rahu is the creator of illusions and epidemics.He is the most dreaded demoniac serpent of Indian Astrology.As such it is very much logical to expect hitherto unheard of diseases becoming alive now when Rahu enters Virgo.

A few days after I wrote the above mentioned post in my Telugu blog www.teluguyogi.net,the eastern states of India were under the grip of Japanese Encephalitis that claimed may lives and gave sleepless nights to the State Administration.Then Dengue fever showed itself on the stage of public life.Many cases of Dengue fever were reported in and around Hyderabad.

Now the latest entrant is Ebola virus.

Ebola virus is giving sleepless nights to Guninea,Liberia and Sierra Leone now and considered by some to be as powerful as HIV virus in its destructive capacity.

Countries like USA,England and others are shivering in the wake of this dreadful virus.The international community has already sent a group of military doctors to the affected countries to quaratine the affected places.Heated discussions are on everywhere in the above mentioned countries on the measures to be undertaken to control the spread of this dreaded virus.  

The first patient who was attacked by this virus died and his doctor died too.This created havoc everywhere.

All this is the result of Rahu's entry into Kanya Rasi.This is another unmistakable evidence to prove the effects of planets on human affairs.

Let me cite a few undeniable evidences from the past,to prove my point.

We know that Rahu makes a full circle of the Zodiac once in 18 years.Last time he was in Kanya from 1996 to 1998.

If we just care to know what happened then,we will understand the power of Rahu and the havoc he could play when he lands in the 6th house of the Zodiac that denotes 'diseases'.
