The Curse of Somanath

According to news, girls are being sold in Afghanistan for money. Afghanistan is on the brink of economic collapse because the flow of international funding and philanthropic help have been stopped by USA and other countries. Afghanistan has almost became a beggar country now. This is very pathetic but clearly proves the law of Karma. On hearing this news, I felt pity for the Islamic barbarians of Afghanistan who attacked and smashed the Somanath temple of Lord Siva many times, some 1000 years ago.

The one reason for the pathetic state of Afghanistan is the curse of Somanath. It has been haunting Afghanistan from the past 1000 years. Mohammad Ghori and Ghazni attacked and destroyed many times the grandest temple of Lord Siva at Somanath, Gujarath, India. Not only that, they raped women, killed men and slaughtered the Brahmin priests of Somanath temple indiscriminately, many times. Since then, Afghanistan never saw peace. It has been the hot bed of wars and feuds since then. It has been labelled as the burial ground of kingdoms. The irony is, even today, the Taliban leaders have not realized the historical blunders their ancestors committed by attacking the peaceful temples of India. Recently one of the leaders of Taliban visited the tomb of Ghazni and declared him to be their hero, for he destroyed the idol of Somanath i.e the Shiva Linga. What a foolishness and what an ignorance ! Even today, after a 1000 years, they could not understand their foolishness. The main reason for their ignorance lies in the violent destructive teachings of Quran.

Islam is the only religion which supports killing of fellow humans just because they choose to worship God in a different way. Not only that, it promises heaven to such killers. Such barbaric killers are glorified as saints in Islam. What kind of foolishness is this? Can you call such a teaching, a humane teaching? Is this what is called peace and humanity?

It is an established fact that every sacrilege committed to Lord Siva and his temple will become a curse and haunt the committer of that crime for hundreds of years to come. The criminal's family will finally be extinguished without any trace. There are any number of known cases in Indian villages where families which usurped the lands belonging to the temples of Siva, ended in total destruction. Their family lines ended without any trace in mysterious events. This is a proven fact. Siva's wrath is formidable and relentless. It will haunt you for hundreds of years for sure.

About 1300 years ago, the rulers of Afghanistan attacked and destroyed Somanath temple many times, raped women folk, killed men and slaughtered Brahmin priests thoughtlessly and destroyed exquisitely beautiful sculptures. Who will suffer for their sins except today's Afghanistan?

This is the sole reason for the pitiable condition of today's Afghanistan. Not only that, even Pakistan will face the same fate in the days to come, for its destructive and cunning Islamic ideology.

Now the most ironical thing is, Afghanistan’s hungry stomachs are now waiting for the millions of tons of wheat donated by the same India whose temples, sculptures and religion have been attacked and destroyed by the ancient rulers of Afghanistan. Afghan girls are for sale now, by their own parents, to avoid death by hunger. Is this not a clear proof of the curse of Somanath?

Another thing ! India which is a Hindu country has come forward to help the same Afghanistan whose rulers tried to destroy its sacred culture. That is the greatness of India and Indian culture ! Indian religion i.e Hinduism teaches us to feed even our enemies if they are dying from hunger.

Islamic countries will never prosper until they desist from violent killing of innocent people belonging to other religions in the name of the so-called peaceful religion of Islam. As long as they believe in the stone age teachings of Quran and kill the followers of other religions, there will be no peace in their folds.

The sooner Islamic countries learn this truth, the better for them. It is not enough to say ‘peace, peace’, all the while plotting to kill fellow human beings. Islam should really become a peaceful religion. It will be judged not by its great rhetoric, but by its actions. If Islam does not forsake violence to become a really peaceful religion, it will be remembered by future generations as the most violent, thoughtless and devilish religion in the whole world.
